Chris Zaccarelli, CFAChief Investment Officer, Independent Advisor Alliance

Chris joined IAA as the Chief Investment Officer in November 2017. His primary responsibilities are directing investment policy and research and portfolio management strategies.

A twenty-year veteran of the financial services industry, including a decade at Goldman Sachs, Chris joined IAA from Cornerstone Wealth where he served as Chief Investment Officer for 2.5 years. During that time, he was responsible for the strategic direction of investment management, development of client portfolios and investment selection.

Chris is a graduate of Cornell University’s School of Engineering and has been a CFA charter holder since 2009. He is active in his community coaching Carolina Rapids soccer teams, participating in programs with the Lake Norman YMCA, volunteering at Davidson College events and other programs in the area.

Originally from New Canaan, CT, he lives north of Charlotte with his wife and three children.

Chris is also a frequent contributor for major news networks such as CNBC, Fox Business, and Bloomberg.

Kim LeeOffice Manager, Insurance Coordinator

Mrs. Lee is the Office Manager and Insurance Coordinator. She is licensed in the areas of traditional Life, and Health and Sickness Insurance.

With 20 years of experience in the field of financial services, Mrs. Lee began her professional career in accounting with the office of John B. Richardson III, CPA. In 1993, she entered the field of life insurance, estate planning, and investments with the firm of Toole-Barnes & Associates, which later merged with BB&T Landrum-Yaeger. Mrs. Lee earned an Associate Arts Degree from Tallahassee Community College.

Eddie Hatch – CFP®, AIFMarketing and Communication, 401k Strategy and Financial Advisor

Mr. Hatch is a Financial Advisor, having joined Barnes Capital Group, LLC when it was formed in
2014. Prior to joining BCG, Mr. Hatch was a financial advisor at Allen, Mooney, & Barnes Investment
Advisors, LLC, having joined in 2008. He is also a General Securities Representative, a Registered
Investment Advisor Representative, and also maintains insurance licenses for life, health, and
variable annuities. In 2012, Mr. Hatch earned his designation as a Certified Financial Planner. He
earned the AIF® Designation from the Center for Fiduciary Studies in 2017. The AIF® Designation
certifies he has specialized knowledge of fiduciary standards of care and their application to the
investment management process.

Mr. Hatch is a native of Branford, Florida and began his career working in the family business in
Suwannee County, Florida. From 2006 until 2008, he was employed as a sales associate with Herff
Jones in Jacksonville, Florida while going to graduate school. A graduate of the University of Florida,
Mr. Hatch was a member of the Gator football team and earned a Bachelor of Science in Business
Administration, with a specialization in Economics. He received a Masters in Business
Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of North Florida.

Stan Barnes – CFP®, CLU, AIFManaging Director

Managing Director of the Barnes Capital Group family of companies, is a Registered Principal and a General Securities Representative and has been active in the financial services industry for 32 years. Mr. Barnes has earned the professional designations of Accredited Investment Fiduciary, Certified Financial Planner and Chartered Life Underwriter. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association, the Estate Planning Council, and is a life member of the Million Dollar Round Table. He has been active in the community and served in leadership roles on a number of non-profit boards and currently serves Big Bend Hospice Foundation and the Community Advisory Council of Flagler College-Tallahassee. Additionally, he was formerly appointed to serve as a member of the investment oversight committees of Leon County Florida, and the Treasury of the State of Florida.

Mr. Barnes formed Barnes Capital Group in 2014 after leaving Allen, Mooney, & Barnes Investment Advisors where he was a managing partner since 2005. Before moving to Tallahassee in 1990, Mr. Barnes was an investment analyst and bond trader with Metropolitan Life in Atlanta and New York. A native of Augusta, Georgia, Mr. Barnes received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington & Lee University and a Masters of Business Administration from Emory University.
