Chris joined as the Chief Investment Officer in 2019. His primary responsibilities are directing investment policy and research and portfolio management strategies.
A twenty-year veteran of the financial services industry, including a decade at Goldman Sachs, Chris previously served as the CIO of Cornerstone Wealth in Charlotte and became the Chief Investment Officer for Independent Advisor Alliance in 2017. While he was CIO, he was responsible for the strategic direction of investment management, development of client portfolios and investment selection.
Chris is a graduate of Cornell University’s School of Engineering and has been a CFA charterholder since 2009. He is active in his community coaching youth sports, participating in programs with the local YMCA, volunteering at Davidson College events and other programs in the area.
Originally from New Canaan, CT, he lives north of Charlotte with his wife and three children.
